The Corita Art Center seeks a summer intern. Thanks to the Getty Multicultural Undergraduate Internship program, this is a paid full-time, ten-week position ($5,500). To qualify, interns must:

Be of a group underrepresented in museums and visual arts organizations, including, but not limited to, individuals of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, or Pacific Islander descent.
Be currently enrolled undergraduates. Students must have completed at least one semester of college by June 2018. Students graduating in May or June 2018 are also eligible. (Students who are enrolled in a second BA or BS program are not eligible.)
Reside or attend college in Los Angeles County; and be a United States citizen or permanent resident.

2018 is an exciting year for the Corita Art Center as we are celebrating Corita's centennial in November. The focus of this internship will be on coordinating programs related to that event. The ideal candidate will have experience with public programs, art-making, and/or art education and be comfortable leading activities for a wide variety of audiences. We are a small team and the intern will also assist with other administrative duties.

To apply, please submit your cover letter and resume as a single PDF document limited to 2 pages via email to info@corita.org. Please be sure to address how you meet the qualifications of the internship in the cover letter. Review will begin immediate, applications close April 27, and the intern will be selected by May 11.
